Welcome prospective members! I am happy to introduce you to Ohev Shalom through our website. Since our founding over 30 years ago, we have come together as a synagogue family by creating a warm, caring community. This is evident in our participatory services and programs, our relationships with each other and with our children in school and youth groups.

At Ohev Shalom, we value people of all ages and backgrounds. For children, our greatest treasures, Jewish education from Pre-School through Religious School and Hebrew High School tops our agenda.  We are proud of our award winning USY youth group that is among the largest and most active in the Delaware Valley. For the adults among us, opportunities abound for Judaic learning and participation in special programs.

You will find a special spirit in this synagogue. We have a love for tradition, while at the same time being open to innovative ideas. Our services combine a respectful tone with an informality that is much appreciated. Life cycle events celebrated in our synagogue involve great caring and attention for the individuals involved.

We invite you to be part of our growth and our future. We embrace new members of all levels of Jewish education and observance and provide opportunities to enhance and enrich your Jewish life. I look forward to meeting you and talking about what Ohev Shalom can offer.
